Jid Sames -Loverman / Show Me The Money

Tired of the same old sound..? feel like you need something fresh….? Well don’t look or listen any further…..

From the deepest depths of the underground, a heroic duo is preparing to storm the hearts of Hip Hop fans across the globe, pairing former Death Metal celebrity JID SAMES action-packed rhymes and charismatic delivery, with long-time partner in crime and local heart-throb SashBash’s huge electro-tinged production, the latest release from Cryogenic Recordings is great music, made by great friends.

Known for his distinctive voice, passionate live shows and mysterious nature, Jid Sames has been slowly making a name for himself in the London scene, gaining radio play (Radio 1, Itch FM + a whole host of other stations) featuring on a number of releases in the UK and Poland – including a recent Hip Hop Connection cover CD.

As a result of occasional erratic on- and off-stage behaviour, Jid has been labeled ‘crazy’, ‘insane’ and a ‘lunatic’ among other titles. He would like to stress that he is not ‘crazy’, ‘insane’ or a ‘lunatic’, but a tender, gifted poet, with a dream and a love for his fellow man. While on a mysterious three-year break from Hip Hop, he gained some notoriety as vocalist for a London-based Death Metal band, featuring on their debut album (world-wide release). Ssshhhh.

SashBash is a producer to keep an eye on. Since his first mysterious release in the early ‘noughties’ to the present day, he’s been busy crossing electro synth vibes, with soul and funk to create a current – if not, post-current sound. With extensive industry experience, Sash knows more than he says he does.  Often described as being ‘elusive’, he is in fact quite easy to locate. The Vince Clarke to Jid’s Andy Bell, Sash is usually found to one side of the stage, doing what he does best, creating a sonic back drop for Jid’s unique delivery…

Watch out for: UltraFreak Feat: Jid Sames a Tribute to Fred Hedley Ep and also the Guest Ales Instrumental 7” series all coming in 2009 on the creative Cryogenic Recordings.
